Tape at the end of barrel?
Welcome. The latex finger cots are much too flimsy. I've had them tear taking the gun in and out of the case. Can't beat elec tape.- JM77

I got the age on this bull today from this past December 15.5 yrs old! But even more special, my grandson Carter, who killed a smoker in 2022 shot his bull first out of the same group as mine. His was 7.5 yrs. My bull stepped into the clear as Carter shot. They ended up laying not 20 yds... -

There is talk about eliminating centerfires for the spring season in Wyoming. IMO that's a positive step to get someone who hasn't called gobblers in the spring, a great experience.- JM77

The largest bodied elk I have taken. Was able to load him whole because he died next to a two tracker. 410# hanging skinned weight, no head/neck/hocks. 332 with two broken tines. -

My wife's bulls, 351, 352 with the broken tines. The broken pedicle bull is a favorite and in my top 5 of all time elk hunts. -
Devaluing Non-Residents
Do you want to know how many more general NR elk licenses will be issued in 2024 compared to last year? Oh about 900. Do you know what the LQ tag allocation is for Wyoming elk? 84/16 and it's been that way for decades.- JM77

Funny how many meetings I have attended in the 307 and never heard Wyoming resident "blowhards" rant about lack of opportunity because of nonresidents. I've never witnessed at meetings or anywhere else "hatred" towards NR. Do Wyo Residents want to be treated the same in their own state as other...- JM77
