Can't verify much yet. I have a slightly used maven in the mail. If I like it I can keep it as is, or return if I don't like it or return & order a new one if I want one in a different skin.

There is always validity in pragmatism. Sometimes what we know will make actuarial sense in the future won’t pass risk analysis now. Or something like that.
After more research and deliberation I’ve continued the narrowing down to the Zeiss Conquest, Meopta Meopro Air, and the Maven B1.2.

Honestly I’m kinda newish to most hunting. I’ve basically just done eastern whitetail stuff, still hunting. But I’m committed to western stuff now. Point games etc. Finally picking up a hobby in my 40s. Darn work.

Any thoughts on a new Henry in .360 Buckhammer? Could be used on whitetail and black bear at lesser ranges? Not that I'm a new cartridge type of guy.... just scratching my head. Anybody able to get ammo in .360BH?
