Weatherby 307 - anyone tried one yet?
Here’s another question. I understand that Weatherby is historically a bit looser on the free bore in their rifles (caution for overpressure?). Is this also the case on non-weatherby chamberings in their 307 and Vanguard product lines? It would seem to be the opposite of the PRC thought... -

Fwiw The V770 single case has approximate linear dimensions totaling 72 inches. The V800 double case has approximate linear dimensions totaling 82 inches. Well…if my math is correct. The particular airline that has the max checked bag size of 62inches has a max oversized bag size of 80...- WVTXn

Go to the specific airline’s website on which you’re planning to fly. Look up oversized baggage dimensions. Usually Length plus Width plus Height has to equal no greater than a certain number. I don’t want to post hyperlinks, but I just read a particular airline’s max baggage dimensions are 62...- WVTXn

If flying or planning on flying in the future check your airline’s oversized baggage rules! Linear dimensions. I think the double size pelican is a no go. Still check on the single.- WVTXn

Texas moves to a cubed loyalty point system
Are the dates you apply for solely the draw as well? Meaning that if I don’t apply for a particular hunt’s earlier date, but do apply for the later date, could I undesirably be drawn for the earlier date? I only selected the desired dates I could hunt. -

Whitetail Feeding
Any recommendations for local whitetail herd management feeding? We've been doing cracked corn for about a year and a half. Haven't seen much difference in quality of deer thus far. M/F ratios do seem better but I doubt that's due to feeding. The extra bucks are small spikes. Rough year so far... -

Sig Sauer Rangefinder
So far the 2800 ranges quickly and seems to be accurate. It does seem to be limited to just over 1000 yards without hitting a highly reflective target. But anything under that 1k yds is good to go. So far so good. -

Just got the Kilo 2800. Seems good so far. Quick ranging. Seems accurate enough. Haven't figured out the bells and whistles but I don't really need them quite yet. Will post more hopefully in a few days. -
