Looking up transporters and guides
I was looking up a couple outfits I was interested in for a moose hunt transport and noticed some guides are listed as a license status of probation. Does anyone know if that something to be concerned about? I see two outfitters that I know have a great reputation as on probation.- MITCHMO

Shooters tarnishing our public land
Giant problem by my house. I wish Michigan DNR would close off the roads. I’m happy to walk my arse in there but no one is going to carry a TV in there to shoot at. Too many disrespectful people out there today. It’s time they loose some of their privileges.- MITCHMO

How much time spent in a unit
Moving units can consume a lot of time. Find a unit that holds elk and find the elk in that unit. Running all over the place has never worked for me. -

Just had a great backpacking trip!
There was two tents that our team set up that were really bad. They kept sliding into a ball in the corner of the tent and it really sucked for them. My insulated neoair did great and even with a rather thin bag, I stayed plenty warm. The temps barely dipped below freezing though.- MITCHMO

Just had a great backpacking trip!
Thanks guys, it was definitely not Sugar Loaf lol. We headed out to Washington and climbed Mt Olympus. That was Blue Glacier in the picture. Yup, they are pretty awesome. Mine really likes the 155 terminal ascent loads from Federal. They are devistating on the critters at close and long range. -
