2024 Kodiak Blacktail hunt!
Awesome! thanks so much. I currently have the 4' fiberglass with some round post connectors I bought on Amazon. That combo is pretty heavy but was quick and dirty so I can put up and test out at home. The wad of 4' poles doesn't seem very super cub friendly ;)- ScottP

Optics review - Vortex UHD 12x50 binoculars

What type of hunting knife?
My hunting knives are all from Bark River, all have slight to moderate drop points - which I love. Blade length 3.25"-3.75". What I'm carrying depends on the animal being hunted and terrain. Why I prefer GaiaGPS over ONX
Gaia is a great app. I have never had any issues downloading maps for offline use, and do it all the time. Prior to their buyout by Outside, I emailed them and they added the new (at the time) timber company lands in Idaho to the hunting layers on pretty short notice.- ScottP

New Tire Opinions
I have a Tacoma but use E rated tires. I don’t tow, but drive a ton of forest service and other logging roads. Falken wildpeak are currently on it, zero complaints. best rifle for women????
This ^ My wife has youth models in weatherby vanguard and savage 16. She uses the .308 for deer and elk. My brother harvester several deer and elk with a youth Howa in 7/08, it’s an excellent caliber.
