    Crossbow because elbow injury

Congrats TR and I’m proud of you for coming out publicly. We (most of us) accept you! I’ve had a lifetime of neck and shoulder issues. So bad that I would schedule reoccurring chiropractor, massages, acupuncture, and cupping appointments during bow tune-up time. Finally after a lung surgery...

    What's your side hustle?

Good on you for being able to bring some of that money home! I worked as a gunsmith for Gander Mountain back in the day and being able to combine discounts and wandering the store during breaks was not good. That job cost me money.

    Barrel break in for Weatherby's

I’ve always felt like complicated barrel break in procedures are a convenient way for companies to get out of honoring their “sub MOA guarantee.” David Petzal once wrote that the average shooter is more likely to lose accuracy with improper cleaning (damaging crown, overdoing copper removal)...

    What's on the smoker today?

Can’t complain but I don’t know much about them. I was extremely happy with how they snugged up and sealed. The last time I sealed I was using a borrowed Foodsaver vac and FS bags and had a heck of a time getting a good seal. Not sure it was the bags, the unit, or both.

    What's on the smoker today?

I think it will work amazing. The older the better is my understanding. I love snack sticks and they are way more convenient, but I have a hard time getting the consistency on stuffing and smoker temp I need. Summer sausage for me is way easier because it’s much easier to stuff and more...

    What's on the smoker today?

BTW - those Hakka stuffers are amazing for the price. I got mine for $135. All metal including the gears. I noticed about every influencer uses Meat! stuffers now - because they are sponsored. Chud used a Hakka before he got sponsored and has a video where he explains how the Hakka is...

    What's on the smoker today?

Tired of paying another man to make my sausage. I had a grinder and a slicer so I finally decided to jump in and buy a stuffer and a vac sealer. First round - elk jalapeño and cheese summer sausage and wild turkey teriyaki snack sticks. Summer sausage is amazing. Sticks are good but not...

    Weekend Libations

Not impressed with this bourbon at all. Luckily the $3 cigar dulled my taste buds.

    Weekend Libations

Because BirdDog is awesome. I like Blackberry and Peach straight up. I enjoy the Black Cherry with Coke. They have a new Balckberry Reserve that is made with their 7yr bourbon. I’m excited to get a bottle.

Talk me out of a Savage Accufit Stock...

Sorry this is off topic. But if you were to walk around your house and take inventory, are you able to say that it is void of Chinese made products? Checking the tags in your clothing, TV, toaster, guessing you don’t have a cell phone? No shopping at WalMart correct? I’m genuinely not trying...

    Weekend Libations

Russell’s 10 year is my daily drinker. Although I don’t drink daily, you get my point. I can get it for $33 every day. The 13 is special. Enjoy!

    Hunting in Harmony?

I’m a huge fan of Grinds. It’s a coffee product that I have seen help a couple people get off chew. I also like it during hunting season. I get my coffee fix without having to deal with the brewing/transport/water, etc. I used to enjoy a cigar or chew in a duck blind or during turkey season...

    Hunting in Harmony?

Exactly. I don’t golf ever (for many reasons). I also don’t fish as much as I want. I am also protective of my non-hunting time. That belongs to the family. I have turned down multiple jobs and opportunities to serve on boards and committees that would require me to to spend additional time...

    Hunting in Harmony?

You seem like an all around good dude Visiting Hunter. A lot of guys should probably be asking you for hunting/spouse advice. However, humility is a paved path for wisdom so I respect the desire to do better even when you are doing well. One thing I will add that I haven’t seen posted already...
