    Colorado corner crossing legislation proposal

Agreed. Hopefully, this is only the start of the process and perhaps between now and next year we can create wider awareness and support of this bill. Democrat co-sponsors will be critical to moving any legislation.

CPW votes to remove lethal means from wolf plan

Ungulates is down the road a little ways. Heck, you can still kill deer in CA. Next will be other predators (bobcats, mtn lions, etc) for CA 2.0.

Get Involved - USFS Comment Period for Jackson Mtn Trail Plan

Just found that BHA has a website addressing this as well: https://www.backcountryhunters.org/jackson_mountain_trails_proposal?fbclid=IwAR0OyX6TT0TDWiGeaxk1To2t6i2Wb3Tun5c4wXfB9-FFfeY1za1Y7gJRl1A

    CPW non-motorized trail grant program

I don't think this was a CPW STC grant project, but I thought most people watching this thread would be interested: https://www.hunttalk.com/threads/get-involved-usfs-comment-period-for-jackson-mtn-trail-plan.318136/

Get Involved - USFS Comment Period for Jackson Mtn Trail Plan

If you're not familiar with this project, basically what has happened is that the USFS ignored a whole bunch of illegal trail building and is now set to formally adopt the illegal trails with no regard for wildlife habitat (winter range, migration, production areas, etc). If this project goes...

Never trimmed the nails, she hardly has any. Thanks for the advice on dog food.

    Lab With Fragile Toe Nails

Our lab is from a reputable breeder and is a stellar dog in many ways. However, she is psycho when she chases her ball and has torn her toe nails to pieces. She plays/trains on grass (snow this time of year) and not on pavement or gravel. She is almost 2 years old now and she is not growing...

Hunting groups quit CPW’s Colorado Outdoor Partnership, citing lack of focus on wildlife

You have a point and that is probably why not all of the conservation orgs have left. However, if you are constantly ignored, why put in the effort? All of these non-profit groups have a limited amount of resources (people, time, money, etc) to spend on their missions. Spending resources on a...

    Maximum hearing protection and tinninitis

I wish that is how it works. My hearing damage has only eliminated a small spectrum of the frequencies of human hearing. The biggest change is the sensitivity to loud noises. The analogy to back pain is almost perfect - once you have hurt your back, you are not likely to say, "Oh well, my...

    Colorado corner crossing legislation proposal

The decision was made after the stakeholders mtg, so that was true at the time, his attendance and report from that mtg was a big part of why the chapter agreed to sign on. As for the website, I don't know about BHA national, I only know about the CO Chapter, which is mostly volunteers.

    Colorado corner crossing legislation proposal

Just FYI, BHA had members in attendance at the stakeholders meeting and have decided to fully support this bill. The first step will be an open letter addressing the issue and CO BHA's support of the bill. I will post it here as soon as it is available.

Trail cams on public land: how is that ok?

Maybe read the previous posts in this thread. Some of us don't like to repeat ourselves ad nauseam.

Weaponizing sound and light over private land air space.

I'm struggling to follow the description, but if the choice is losing a few feet of property or your sanity...

Weaponizing sound and light over private land air space.

You probably cannot win a tit-for-tat battle, but how much property line are we talking? Can you build a fence or wall to block the sensors?
