What's on the smoker today?
This hog was on the smaller side of what we normally slaughter. Only about 8 pounds of bacon off of him. Raised one once that gave me 18 pounds of bacon.- WildWill

Which caliber?
Mostly to satisfy my own curiosity. You're probably right about sticking with the win mag but sometimes I have to learn lessons the hard way. -

Of the calibers listed I'd go 300 win mag all day. But sense we're spitballing here anyone else really intrigued by the 300prc? I've been telling myself I'm gonna get one for about a year now. -

Old Military Photos from Hunttalkers
Found this in my mom's desk the other day. It's my dad circa the late 70s early 80s in Germany. He joined in 1969 did two tours in Vietnam and was in the first gulf war before retiring as a sergeant major. I'm gonna find some more next time I'm at her house.- WildWill

AFRICA! Bucket List nears... September.
I found the blesbuck to be quiet a challenge only second to zebras in difficulty to stalk. Looks great so far! How'd you get past the site blocker? I was unable to log on to hunttalk.com the entire time I was in Africa for some reason.- WildWill

Got a new truck last year but haven't bought chains yet. I didn't have any late season hunts out west last year but will be in CO during 3rd rifle and WY chasing cow elk in Dec. Any recommendations on brand or model?- WildWill
