The part of goat hunting nobody talks about, clawing up and down in a rainforest. The other reason we chose Alaska was a chance to fish. We were able to catch silver salmon from shore and also go further out but boat for halibut and rockfish, limiting out on all species.- bsmith

What coat/jacket/sweater do I want?
Kuiu Kenai hooded. Have used it in a wide range of conditions and activity levels. Hasn’t let me down and doubt it ever will. Also nice when hiking with a pack or moving a lot with pit zips to dump heat and insulation in the right areas. My go to- bsmith
