    The BEST GRIZZLY BEAR Defense...................interesting

The shitnugget of truth was guns out. Like already broke leather on your gun or spray prior to the charge.

“Alone” season 11 on History channel Thursday nights

Roland in his rock house could have lasted indefinitely. I think “Alone” as with any survival-type show has a psychological work up of contestants selected. They gather an assembly of normies, kooks and several fruitloops to make good TV. “Alone” is more mental toughness than any other show...

    The BEST GRIZZLY BEAR Defense...................interesting

This was a shitplay with shitpuppets. But I watched the whole shitty thing. Chris, the puppet master, dropped a shitnugget of truth at 10:50.

“Alone” season 11 on History channel Thursday nights

Dusty is my winner. Dude’s like an idiot abroad, but he’s got good bushcraft and that goes far in this show. Ms. Métis-Cree is a strong female contestant who will go far.

Wakesurfing article - Good to see some headway on this

Well I own a canoe <15’ so I must be hung like a horse.

Wakesurfing article - Good to see some headway on this

I think the most unobtrusive and equal resolution would be wake free zones and limited HP. Used to be no combustion engines would exclude the riff raff, but now with electric engines going mainstream that won’t work anymore. If you were in Nebraska then the argument could be made about access...

    Best Trail Cam Pictures

Ya, tell ya what, Brent, I don’t know if my own dog might actually be a wolf now. That summertime half a fawn shot is wild. The summer pic right beneath that I would have previously confidently labeled coyote. Especially with the angle making the ears appear goofy sideways coyote.

    Best Trail Cam Pictures

Are there any more images of the canine? I want to say coyote, possibly mixed with something coyote.

    7x57 bullet weight

Those ballistic tips look good. Get those moving 2,800fps without pressure and call it good for iron sights.

Whatever happened to ACTUALLY the meaning of this title???

You people really are racist and I’m not even a Californian!

    7x57 bullet weight

That’s even faster twist than I thought. I’ll try to make the 160s work and settle for 2,400fps as good enough. Those 101 hammers would be wicked at 3,400fps, but likely exceed 51,000 to get there. Hammer does offer 120s which could be the difference we need with seating depth less of a concern...

Big ol round nose 175 and it must be a fast twist in these rifles that stabilized those slugs.

    7x57 bullet weight

I’m helping a friend work up a 7x57 load for mule deer this fall. I’m really excited to do this cartridge as it’s the predecessor of 30-06; we’re working the tools of the ancient lost arts here. The gun is a Mauser marked 1893 and carbine length. Buddy got a box of S&B 140gr to cook off for some...

    Tri-tip

We’ve been buying that Costco double pack for years now and here’s my default preparation. Put the tri tip on a wire rack in the fridge for a couple days. Trim all fascia and some fat. Let sit on the counter for an hour. Then liberally pat the whole thing with Montreal steak seasoning. Heat up...

Do you own a scout rifle? Is it worth getting one?

That new Canadian Ranger Tikka T3x is sweet. Not a classic scout with that forward mounted scope rail, but everything else. Can’t get it in USA for now. This T3x Drover is next best thing. I think if a guy is set to blow $1,000 on a 308 anyway, make it a Tikka (Sako)...

The limits of the 2nd Amendment

I’m happy about this and especially that there was no plea deal or interference from other Federal branches. Checks and balances. Impartial interpretation of the law. Justice for all. Good on ya, Federal government.
