What kind of access would you like in the Breaks?

For the sake of the mule deer I hope the road is still closed. If you can walk to it, you have access. I’m getting to old/crippled to walk it, but those who are able will have a better experience without a side by side on every ridge like it is south and north of Glasgow/Malta

Grazing fees, the economics of elk and cattle

Not near as much as rural America is. The sadistic part of me would really like to see a good old fashioned depression. Where people could start comprehending where their last meal came from, one where people would be actually willing to go to work just for food. We have become a nation of...

Grazing fees, the economics of elk and cattle

Funny how things have changed. Now the land “unclaimed”(blm) in north eastern Montana would be the first stuff homesteaders would want. This on account it’s the best mule deer/antelope/elk habitat in R6.

FWP Upland Gamebird Hunting Reg Meeting

I hope limiting access the first 15 days of the season helps and does not hurt as far as the accessible lands goes. If it does not solve some of the crowding issue my opinion is that we limit NR’s to either a 3 day license can ,purchase 2 to whatever number is palatable, non consecutive license.

What The Hell is Science-Based Management?

As to the lawyers back a few posts, tort reform. Wildlife management, somewhere in between what I’ve attempted (managing for 6+yr old bucks) and FWP’s no holds barred mule deer management.

FWP Upland Gamebird Hunting Reg Meeting

It was discussed. I think the proposal is to open upland sept 1 to R&NR hunters, but limited to private land only. Open/accessible lands Sept 15 opener for NR on accessible. Correct me if wrong.

What kind of access would you like in the Breaks?

Maybe, but wouldn’t hurt to try it. Every action that is taken there are always unintended consequences.

What kind of access would you like in the Breaks?

I could live with that, but don’t think it’ll fly. I’d like to see designated parking areas. Park and walk.

Keep the damn road closed….for the sake of the resource. In 630-670 it’s a free for all, 4 wheelers and sXs running amok. Mostly Wa,Mn, western Mt…. “Hunters” need to get Off their entitled, lazy asses and follow the rules. Signed, Disgusted
