I've thought about this before. I'm not a climber and don't really care, but I do feel like it seems like a double standard. But personally, I believe the land should be enjoyed responsibly.
Some people jeopardize that for all of us, but that can mean both abuse and over regulation
I know what you mean, but I absolutely love his work. The detail in his landscapes and characters is spot on and he really puts you there. There are authors that ramble on needlessly, but to me Cormac ties it together in a unique way that really drags the feels out of a guy
Been on a mountaineering kick again lately. Just finished Into Thin Air by Jon Krakauer. Great story, although it is terribly sad. The mistakes made on Everest that year (probably mostly due to hypoxia) are beyond jaw dropping. It never ceases to amaze me the risks taken in mountaineering...
They're so worried that they're going to possibly lose some block management in region 7 by not allowing does to be shot that they're willing to torch the entire region. These people aren't doing their jobs. If that happens, get creative and cross that bridge when you get there, that's your job

Is there an actual structure to these meetings? How did we go from talking about CWD in region 3, to deer numbers in region 6, to listening to a Footloose henchmen from Butte in the last 15 minutes?
My dad had 2 when I was growing up, one in .243 and one in .308. Deer season was always over in the first hour. I saw him make some crazy shots with those guns. I've always thought that they're pretty cool rifles
Man, this is making me realize my list of gear that has failed in the last 10 seasons is long. I can't think of much besides rifles I'm still using. Maybe I'm just hard on stuff
