Small world. This is my neighbors brother. I didn’t know anything about this until I saw the link on here. I will only say that there is A LOT more to this case than what the article says. Reading the article it seems open and shut trespass case, but when was the last time a simple trespass...
Or, there are more deer/better hunting success where the hunters are hunting. They didn’t collar any deer so I think it’s a pretty big assumption to presume the deer are automatically where hunters are not - especially when most are attempting to kill a deer not jump them. Also doesn’t appear...
I was going to hike in ~2 or 3ish miles to meet my buddy at a GPS waypoint. Plans were only loosely discussed over text/onx screenshots. I got off work a tad early Friday to hike in. Got about 1-1.5 miles in (the entire mountainside up was toothpick deadfall) and it was getting dark, I...
6.8 western is a short action .270, no? Would presume would be very similar to low pressure .277 Fury? If it was 6.8 PRC or 6.8 Creedmoor I’d say it would be selling more. Hornady seems to be the only company that can introduce and successfully market new cartridges these days. The military...
What are the knobs on the side for? I saw another user post a review and mentioned them being goofy/weird which looking at them I would agree just wondered what their function, if any is?
A gourmet meal feet off the ground.
Thank you for this down to earth tribute. Beef Stroganoff over instant mash potatoes is one of my favorite meals.
Spaghetti a solid second for me.
I haven’t been impressed with Peak and whatever other brands I’ve tried.
Beware, MH has a veggie chorizo...
So Barnes bullets are only designed for larger, faster calibers? The Barnes bullet design (as all monos and even traditional lead and copper to less extent) is dependent on velocity, so I concede that the distance you can get appropriate expansion with this caliber is less than others but 168...
This seems like another good idea and looks cleaner. Perhaps a blend of cabinets, grid wall and shelves is what we will do. We put some cabinets in our laundry room and they cost a lot more than I expected so not sure the cost benefit is there for a gear storage room but plan to look into it.
Thanks for pointing that out. I hadn’t noticed that 🙄. The entire baseboard trim needs redone because I did not account for the door trim when I installed the door but have not wanted to evacuate the rooms contents to deal with it since.
Doesn’t sound like anyone has any better solutions so...
This is what we’ve had for the past several years. Just seems there is a better way or maybe we just have too much crap? My actual hunting pack isn’t even in there I usually leave it next to my bed once season starts. There is a lot of duplicate or triplicate but nice to loan them out to...
Anyone have a great, organized gear room? We’ve been using a shelving unit and hanging packs on wall hooks I installed but I’ve seen a couple ideas that I think may work better. Ours looks nice 10% of the time when it’s all put away but the bins are jammed full so when I need something it all...
