Reminds me of a summer camping/fishing trip with my dog. Drove 22hrs to Wyoming, few miles into the mountains on jeep trails and found a place an hour before dark to set up camp quick, with a thunderstorm rolling in ready to let loose any minute. I quickly pitch my tent, turnaround and there's...
You're correct there's been some pretty eventful nasty sucky pack outs for sure, but they all fall in the fortunately they happened category (well maybe one didn't ). There's probably going to be more, so lace 'em up tight ;).
Your goat last year did inflict some pain, in the weight...
Watched these episodes last week on + channel, I enjoyed and was very informative at least from my perspective of not knowing jack about Montana fishing. There sure is a whole lot more to the whole overall picture I'm guessing many are unaware of. Marcus and Michael have done some good...

September awaits!
Good luck to all left still in the game.
momma goose on her nest just off my driveway. Pic taken from kayak.
Why did the rooster cross my drive? I released 20 birds in Dec., at least one is still alive.
Through the windshield pulling in my drive a few mins ago.
I been struck by the little suckers many times, seems you can't have anything nice in a barn, shed or sitting in your drive. Over the years I had costly repairs to a riding mower, countless misc. items chewed up, piss smelling nests discovered, fuel line on pickup truck chewed through...
Going into this years draw I had 6 bonus points for both deer and elk, I just looked at My FWP and it shows I now have 8 deer and 7 elk points, maybe it's a 2 for 1 deer point year! I'm sure FWP will straighten all things out though, especially with their innovative adaptive management capabilities.
