What you said, or at a minimum overtly implied, is that couples shouldn’t split up if they have kids. John’s point was that there are lots of situations, including his, where things are past the point of no return. If you’ve not had to deal with those situations, consider yourself fortunate...
I’ve had a venison roast wet brining in the fridge since last Friday. Will become corned venison over the weekend to be used in some breakfast hash and reuben sandwiches afterwards. 😋
I’ve been pretty happy with my R1T. A little over 2 yrs and 30k miles so far. Not without a few issues, but they’ve been good to address anything that’s come up.
My Rivian weighs just over 7,000 lbs if that’s any indication. Typical F150 is about 5,000 IIRC. Batteries are definitely heavy! It’s not all bad, though. Having all of that weight down at the axles really improves ride and handling on winding mountain roads. It’s Hell on tires though!
It appears there’s several level 2 chargers (not ideal unless they are parking all day or overnight) and one high speed DC fast charger station in Sedona. Not to mention that with a readily available adapter, you can charge using the 220v outlet at most any campground that has full hookups...
I out about 70k miles on a 2015 Tesla. Battery had lost about 5% of capacity at that point. They aren’t cheap to replace, but neither are gas engines. Plus there’s little to no maintenance required up to that point. Change tires and wiper fluid / blades is about it.
I’m thinking the pin drop feature would be helpful at the dog park as well. I could tag the dog and drop a pin while he’s pooping, and avoid that aimless wandering trying to find it when I go over to pick it up.
Sort of. It’s factoring the in the differing effects of gravity depending on the horizontal angle of your shot. If you’re shooting uphill, gravity will have a greater effect on your bullet and a 500 yard straight line uphill shot would equate to a range slightly higher that you’d want to dial...
FIFY.
IMO, the CyberTruck is fugly! As for your opinion on electric vehicles in general, you’re entitled to it. I’ve done the math, and I spend less time charging in a year than most gas vehicle owners spend filling up. That’s because 90+% of my “fill ups” are at home while I’m sleeping. On...
Great idea! I’ve been doing cooking classes while traveling for several years. No better way to experience local cultures than thru preparing classic local cuisine and learning the history behind it.
