What you can't see is that he attended four different "elk boot camps" where he paid 5k to be yelled at by grown men who pretended to be drill instructors.
I shoot at street signs, but I'm usually very tired from all the drinking and driving so I often miss.
Plus the town lights in the background make it very hard to see the signs when you're shooting them at night...
I love my 45-70 and it's a great bear or thick bush rifle.
Also, "Henry with some very nice wood" has a whole other meaning if we're not talking rifles!
I completely agree with you on locals thinking they own the place. Same way that those who lease crown land have to allow reasonable access to their leases but I've always been told to get bent. The worst answers I've had with regards to hunting access has been about access to leased crown land...
I've done yoga before. It's both relaxing and f'n hard at the same time. Ya boi isn't flexible...
I still do a few poses to stretch my back and shoulders when I work out or even just at home when my back/shoulders feel tense.
Guys who are serious about making fun of guys who do yoga have...
I mean wildland equipement, not air assets.
I've done a lot of wildland firefighting. The right equipement with the right amount of crews can do a whole lot.
I use paper towel strips drenched in 40 vol creme developer and cover the skull with it, wrap it in saran wrap and wait a couple days.
For bears, I mix the peroxide creme with water and simmer the skulls for 30-45 minutes.
Sorry, the firefighting budget had to be shifted around so they could hire New Zealand "sharpshooters" to shoot deer from helicopters.
I'm obviously being facetious, but you can purchase significant wildland firefighting capabilities with 12 million dollars...
The only place I don't hang my food in bear country is Northern Saskatchewan since all we have are blackies and I keep my food in bear safe containers or coolers.
No way in hell I'm leaving food, where I'm sleeping, if there are grizzlies around. I usually hang my food in a dry bag.
Also...
Sad to see another town destroyed.
Things are replaceable, people are not! Glad the evacuation order came in when it did! Long road ahead for the people of Jasper and unfortunately possibly others, this year's fire season is still young and already way ahead of previous year's average.
Unstable people are on all side of the political spectrum.
Over time, I've realized that one side doesn't attract more or less crazies. A lot of unstable people want to belong to something and break shit. Any excuse is good to do evil. Extremists are just that, extremists, not right, left...
I'd like to point out that I've once engaged a bad guy in sandals at +/-500 meters with 5.56... and missed...
But he ran away so I technically won that firefight. 💪
