How much freezer for a bull moose?
15 + cubic feet stacked in a chest freezer. Another 10 or so if you organize it. Packing it home in Ice chests you'll be close to 400 quarts of ice chest space.- Salmonchaser

Biggest cost for us is insurance, the cost of a one hour flight from king salmon south to Ukashik narrows doubled, nearly, from last summer to this summer, cost of insurance. Yes, my home to PDX or Sea Tac is about 6 hours. I could fly out of Boise but the dogs would be stuck waiting for the connection. Worth it to me to drive over. In 20 years had one bad mess to clean up when we got to ANC.- Salmonchaser

I did it every year for 20 years, couple different dogs. My current brace of shorthairs started making the trip at six months, they are 12 and 13 now. Portland and Seattle suck!
