Following morning hiked the trail beyond where we are seeing these bulls. Weather is grey, windy, cold. Hearing motor sounds, found some big rigs coming in. The next couple of days we had wheelers and big rigs show up above camp. A dozen other hunters in the area.- BearFoot

Rained the rest of that day, and woke early to more of the same. Soon a bull is spotted with a cow. He's messing with her, but she's dancing around him. Early on we are spotting moose. The kid spots a very nice bull. Its across a drainage, working its way up hill. He and our young hunter are off. Its misty raining. Nearly a mile hike. In first light, a bull far off. This year more cows had calves than previous years. A great sign! Found ourselves in blueberry heaven. Blueberries are so thick, boys want pancakes! Pancakes are happening!- BearFoot

While placing amenities, this little fellow showed up to check us out. Very cool. Little guy kept coming & going for a half hour. Camp that night.- BearFoot

At the trailhead, each hunter ensured, tight groups at 100 yds. Summer was busy. Got it done at the trail head. Going to camp. The crew cab got a new roof rack. We plan to camp high. Collecting firewood to haul above treeline.- BearFoot

Cooked and vac sealed up Mac & cheese, moose taco meat, pork carnitas, Ziti noddles & Italian moose burger, Moose dogs, pork breakfast sausage and BBQ shredded moose, and more goodness. Headed out with, two weeks to get er done! Last minute salsa- BearFoot

Moose 24. Leaves are turning yellow and red in the yard! This year, just the boys again. Inspecting the Moose buggy found engine mounts attempting to rip out. These rigs really flex a lot! Fixed that. A bit of tuning and adjustment so these rigs run great. I want to hunt & not fix broke stuff...- BearFoot
