Has anyone played with the Magnus 150gr single bevel?

The local distributor/wholesaler has the full line of Vihtavouri that is running comparable or slightly less price wise than Hodgdon powders. When's the last time you heard that? School me on compressed loads and Standard Deviation
Single digit SD isn't the end all, be all. As @Chingon said, what does your target tell you? When I first started loading, I'll admit, I was worried about too much pressure. So my loads were very low. And kicked like a son of a gun! Turns out too low, and you get unwanted pressure spikes...- std7mag

Alas, my Henry isn't a lever action. Henry Single Shot Brass in 45-70. For now I'm going with a 300gr Sierra JHP over a charge of Vihtavouri N130. Perhaps next year I will give Missouri Bullets a go. -

Are these bullets tumbling?
I had bought a Rossi R243 for my wife. I had gotten a good deal on several boxes of 105gr Hornady Match bullets. I called tech line for Hornady. Tech told me that "no, they will not stabilize with a 1:10 twist". Figured I'd load them up and at least it would be time behind the trigger... -

Building a 280AI
When talking with a Hornady tech on their help line, he told me that a "1:10 absolutely will not stabilize their 105gr Match bullet in a 243 Win". I'll be polite and say that he was mistaken. Shooting them proved them to be very accurate. -

Adjusting draw weight. Update.
Update. Well, it appears that soaking the limb bolts with penetrating oil worked. Tried to turn them today, and they turned fairly easily. I'm still going to put this on a scale to find out what the original draw weight is.
