I may have a ginger ale once or twice year unless there's Jameson around then my consumption goes up exponentially.
We have an LJS in a nearby town. I bet I haven't been there in 25 years. It was one of my mom's favorite places to go. I don't think I could choke any of it down now.
Depends on what you want to hunt for the most part. Realistically, you have a very serviceable rifle in a caliber good for just about everything. I'd upgrade the scope and practice more.
If you're looking for another rifle, as others note, Tikka and Bergara are solid.
I'm on this site every day, Gohunt probably 5 times a week plotting, planning and dreaming. I pull guns out of the safe to fondle for no reason. I go through my gear closet far more often than necessary. I reload and/or prep cases for no good reason. I could go on but you get the picture.
I have a load for my wifes 6.5CM using the original 125gr bulldozer. I arrived at consistently good groups with 43gr IMR 4350. I can't find the velocity at the moment.
She shot an antelope buck with it at 175 yards a couple years ago. Bang flop with complete pass through. Decent wound...
I had a '97 F250. After about 2 years I think I was qualified to take the Ford master mechanics test. hahaha. I'd not have one given to me but also recognize I could have had one that was beat to piss before I got it. I sent it down the road with 165K on it.
I agree with RobertD. Unfortunately 1 point won't get you much these days and even with the special, you're looking at the same few units that have been discussed on here ad nauseum. Yes there are plenty of animals in these units but they are generally not that easy to come by.
IMO, for a...
I've not had a gun built but have had a couple rifles rebarreled and they have been great to work with. I had no issues with communication, if I had a question I got a response within a day or too.
My 7mm08 is a tack driver with 140gr accubonds but I haven't been able to find any for over 2 years. I have a couple boxes loaded and when those are gone I'm switching over to either Hammers or Badlands Precision. Same story with my 338-06, no 200 grain AB's to be had so I moved over to Hammers.
I'm a little late to this party but working from home for 2 years and a deep abiding love for beer, bourbon and food put me at my heaviest ever. 2 weeks ago was my reality check at 246lbs. It's still early but down 8lb so far. My goal is 205 by June 1.
Hey Marines, I was at the outdoor show in Harrisburg, Pa a week or so ago and stopped by the VFW booth. I found out that anyone deployed to South Korea after 1954 may be eligible for the Korean Defense Service Medal. I believe you have to have served at lease 30 consecutive or 60 non...
7mm Accubonds? I'd take whatever youre willing to part with. My 7mm08 is dialed in for them and my CDS cut for that load. Let me know what you want for them.
I could use some as well. Had them on order with Midway for at least a year before they cancelled the order. I have to be very judicious with using my 7mm08 until they come back.
