    In my 52 years of shooting I have never had to”break in” a barrel. It’s not because machining is now1000 % better. It’s because “barrel break in” has always been total BS.

    The new fabrics probably are better suited to spot and stalk or running and gunning style hunting. Here in the northeast I am a still hunter where wool has no equal.
