Finally......DOW not updated but my CC got hit for an elk tag (assuming it's my wife's as I have no points) and it looks like my sister-in-law got her bull tag, so I'll be the Guide this year!
Every time I check for me (and my spouse so twice the anxiety) I yell at the top of my lungs..."WHY HAVE YOU FORSAKEN MEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!"
Maybe that's a touch dramatic, but oh well!
I read somewhere that today would be moose, tomorrow bear, Wednesday was Deer, and like Thursday was elk, and Friday would be Speed Goat......Don't know how true that is but there you go!
Long ago I was leaning towards a 300 Weatherby and was talking to the dealer who was a friend of my sister (who buys shitloads of guns as a side not...I have a cool big sister). Anyways, I was all gung ho for the Weatherby until Jim (the dealer) made a few valid points...expense and ability to...
I got a Leupold Kenai straight eye piece 20-60x80 HD scope. Used it for vehicle optics, bit heavy for packing in far. It came with case, extra eye piece (fixed I believe, never used it) soft case and hard case, and a small tri-pod. Minimal use so it's pretty much brand new...Any Leupold experts...

I typically hunt in November here in the Rockies so I have two pair of Danner Canadians which are 600 gram insulation. I walk a lot so I alternate a pair everyday to let the previous days pair dry out. I also have a uninsulated pair of Danner Pronghorns for the rare times I don't hunt when it's...
I have a Sitka Mountain Jacket XL Optifade Open Country-Tags still on, got as a gift but no receipt, asking $175 plus shipping (Should be $8-$12). If you need pictures I can provide as soon as I get my phone back (Battery Replacement).
If anyone wants some assistance getting fit at altitude, I have to pour a foundation and build my cabin this summer near Granite Colorado at about 10500 feet. Anyone wanting a personal trainer in the form of manual labor contact me, and I won't even charge you...lol! :)
