Curious on the "True Ballistics Range" mode. The fact that they don't share what that does clearly without digging for it makes me wonder if it's some fuddy CDS output rather than actual angular firing solution.
Makes me laugh every time!
Id say I usually go 200-400 rounds between cleaning a barrel on most bolt rifles. Some start misbehaving and need it a bit sooner.
Here's a graph ive seen in the past that illustrates relationship between seating depth and pressure. I'm sure it varies based on other variables but I found it to be a useful illustration. I'd guess that the 150 grain bullet and 53 gr 4064 are not fighting too hard for volume in the case with...
You think the grant searching out non-white climate change “journalists” is going to produce hunting advocates from the hood (I’m sorry, marginalized communities)? Ha!
I’m curious how the white middle class folks would be unaware of air pollution but non-white people in the same city would be...
I agree in theory but it's hard to figure out where to draw the line of what is unacceptable.. Is a "long range" hunting type guy gut shooting a bull at 600 yards worse than Randy whiffing on a big black bear from prone at 200 yards? There are obviously some blatant examples but a lot of fringe...
Half of the laws out there are extremely hard to enforce. I'm curious what the solution would be on tech because most of the ideas Ive seen thrown out seem dumb in relation to what really matters when making shots.
Maybe i'm giving hunters too much credit though.. A lot of people think...
The problem is most of the people looking at cartridges or magnification or whatever else is the same problem as the people who are making long range shots a black eye - they don’t have a fuggin clue about what goes into making good shots at distance. So they shouldn’t be taking the shots or...
Fill ratio is WAY over considered by lots of people. I don’t like heavily compressed loads and don’t use powders so fast that they have very low fill ratios. Beyond that, fill ratio is a non consideration.
Tell them... LOL. I grew up thinking I wanted to be a Musky guide in the late 90s because of my time musky fishing there then. They kept their resort full for years after there wasn't a realistic prospect of a walleye meal. You ever spend any time on the lake in the 90s and early 2000's and...
Grew up spending much of my summers at a resort on Mille lacs that was owned by family. A couple of decades fighting about regs and frustrations with native take and res issues soured them on their home and livelihood. They live in they keys now..
