Montana General Season Structure Proposal
I think this is all great. The only thing I could see backfiring is the fact that the only thing to hunt in October is mule deer. All that idle time and itching to get out before elk opens. Do you think the pressure will increase on mule deer? It seems like it would limit the opportunity mule... -

I seem to vaguely remember that they were going to combine all the Gunnison basin as a single management unit to simplify the management, since they were all similar already. Oh chit... thanks for the clarification. I was looking at a 2023 map. Seems they combined them. DAU 25 is still missing from the list? I see at the bottom of the preliminary numbers there is a note stating they were all combined into unit 57, but the map you show isnt' right.- Bambistew

Milk jug challenge.
I'm going to do this with my kids this summer. Looks really fun and will keep them entertained and train them up with getting comfortable with various positions and turning a dial. It will also be good for dad too. :D -
Restoring Accuracy, Remington 700
No kidding. I usually tear down bolts and clean them at the end of the season. I've had a couple that were rusted badly, a new spring and firing pin fixed them up though. I don't recall them having accuracy issues though. This is very interesting. Thanks for sharing. Now I'm going to be... -

Both RL22 and IMR 4831 are my go-to powders in both 7mag and my both my 280s with 160 accubonds. They also spot very well out of my 270.
