Sheep are softer than deer, and can't take a bullet... at all.
Agree, don't wound them, but if you do they will go lay down or stand around for a second shot
They don't roll that far unless you shoot them in the cliffs, which is not a good idea anyway because they can hang up. Their head is...
no idea what this means... if a household is primary (i.e. inhabited home) or if they also count short term rentals. Maybe there are 40k vacant homes/cabins/condos/apartments, or maybe those are the second homes?

makes zero sense to me if all you changed was the turret. I wasn't sure if you changed anything else. I didn't realize that was all you did. Sometimes screw holes are not lined up, or the rings/bases are out of alignment or the height can be off. Rare, but I've seen it.
I would set to zero and...
How high is it at 100 with the 250 zero? How low was it at 300 with the same 250 zero?
Something is wonky for it to print that high with such a small adjustment. Are you sure the scope is parallel to the bore?
I figured you were alluding to the UL tags. Not really sure it matters what gets shot when its on a quota, other than cutting opportunity short for others holding out for a "bigger" ram? Maybe make harvest be contingent on age vs degree of curl would be better to extend opportunity? Based on...
I presume this is in relation to the UL hunts?
There are some absolute huge rams killed in MT that are 5-6 years old. IIRC there was a 180 4yo killed a few years ago that had like 17" bases. Some areas they rarely live past 8-9. What do we say about that? @Lawnboy wasn't your giant ram a...
We could go down a deep rabbit hole of things I own that don't pay for themselves. :D
We go through $3-500 in freeze dried meals a year, easily. My kids love freeze dried fruit and other things (skittles) that are spendy as well. My kids don't even eat freeze dried meals yet... It will pay for...
I have made my own many times. Super easy, and you can make a couple dozen for like $6. I didn't dehydrate them, they're cooked like a cookie. I've used a few different recopies I found online, add a little extra to them. These are really good...
4 if you ask my wife and 26 if it's it's the insurance adjuster. Some haven't been shot in awhile and may go down the road and consolidate and upgrade. Sold some I wish I still had and have some I wish I wasnt attached to.
Bummer. My wife is battling this now and it turned into tendinosis and prognosis isn't great until final tear then surgery. The doc told her the longer she waited before addressing tendonitis was the reason it got worse. She toughs it out and has been going to PT but really not a lot to do to...
Good luck! Mountain hunting out of a backpack is as good as it gets. Sounds like you are getting you kit dialed in, you're right it takes a while and its expensive, but way more options today than there was 30 years ago when I started. I still have some of that gear too!
Your thinking on a...
Very cool adventure. Thanks for sharing.
A couple friends went to NWT last winter and shot a couple. Great eating, but the initial smell when cooking makes you wonder.
Easier said than done when living in a tent for 2 weeks in high humidity conditions. Its just so hard on wood stocks when they can't dry out. The metal is easy enough to keep rust free.
Find me a ss version and I'll trade you. :D Seriously.
