I talked with a biologist last week about a different question but I did ask him how the animals were doing, and he seemed pretty confident they were going to be fine in the area I was asking about. I will check gain before applying as March can change things.

My family all hunted. Dad gave me a recurve at about 7 or 8 and told me I was in charge of varmint control around the farm. Shot so many groundhogs I was walking miles to find any to hunt. Learned how to catch them by hand and let them go so I had something to do.
We were just turned loose :)
But with my daughter it was setting up cans and such off the back deck and many summer evenings shooting reinforcing safety the whole time. I mean right there with her within arms reach with a BB gun and then 22.
