Unit 40 rutt
Question for those who have hunted unit 40 for deer. When is typically the peak of the rut? I was lucky this year and drew this tag and have taken the 6th of Nov to the 16th of Nov off to hunt hard and hopefully find a great buck. -

Drew 44 deer
Smitty, My friend has drawn this hunt twice. Like mentioned before the deer seem to move out pretty quick. We had good luck on Lime Creek on the border of 44 & 43. have not been back since the big fire so not sure about the area now. Still should be a fun hunt. Good luck and hope you get what... -

New to Fourm
Hello all. I just stumbled across this forum and excited to dig in. After all the results from 5 western states I lucked out and drew a unit 40 deer tag in Idaho. I am fired up for Nov. Hope all have a successful hunts this fall and hope to be posting some pictures in Nov.
