    October is always dead for us we don't start seeing any of our better bucks until November. Now I can really focus in on mule deer over thanksgiving. Saw a dandy of a mule deer buck comming out of the cotton headed into some canyons a few weeks back.

    As one pointer said there are some limited draw opportunities with limited success rates or a DIY on private land. My sheep was free range and came off of some family land we have to hunt I would look into the caprock canyons draw hunt
