I love bow hunting, that's my preferred method. Since it sounds like you really don't want to, I'd say don't and save the money, because it can get pricey. If you know someone that has a spare bow that fits you that you can mess around with maybe try that first before you spend the money, at...
Why not just call the local wardens and report him and then try to find the warden that gave him "permission". If no such warden exists then hopefully they do catch him, if he was telling the truth for some reason find out why the warden was allowing him to ride when it's not allowed(assuming it...
Out west I would, probably only a couple hundred bucks at most. Here in MO I do pay for a lease. It's either that or hunt w/thousands of other guys on public land. MO has a decent amount of public land compared to a lot of midwest and eastern states but we have a lot of hunters, both in/out of...
I've heard of people doing this, I actually think the prices for a charter are somewhat reasonable compared to what a lot of landowners want for access.
I'm always excited about the draft. I'm a Rams fan and w/two picks in the first that aren't in the top 3 selections for once it's nice to be able to sit back and see who falls to use instead of already knowing who it's going to be for a month plus lol.
If the Cards don't get their bullpen figured out they'll be lucky to get be in the playoffs. What was a strength for them last year is horrible so far.
Bumping this cause it's something I'm considering for this fall. Anyone able to recommend a bike that is fairly inexpensive? Other than disc brakes what else should I be looking for?
Yea, after reading some of the previous posts I've started looking into it a little more. It's at least closer than western OR. I never really thought much about it at first because I figured ID was mostly high country. Can you recommend some areas? Preferably w/o grizz and wolves.
Not worried about this year, trying to do this next year. What are some of the areas in WY that are eaay to draw for this type of hunt with 0 or 1 pt. The only area I know off the top of my head is unit 100 which is a long wait, any other areas I've looked at seem to have a lot of private ground.
I thought about that but I prefer to do it DIY public land. Also thought about trying to find a cheap landowner voucher in NM in the lower elevation areas, if cheap ones even exist.
