Two years ago I was convinced I had experienced my last hunt with my dad. He is aging and it was at his age I had my last hunt with my grandpa. What a treat it was when I found out he was coming along for my antelope hunt! As an added tender mercy, I chose a unit that unbeknownst to me was my...
There is a fair amount of misinformation in this thread. As someone who has seen the inner workings of many real estate transactions involving the parties referenced in this thread, a couple things need clarification.
First, the church is not and has not obtained vast amounts of land to add to...
Yes, I fully expect to see more of this behavior in the future. When we commercialize wildlife with videos, expos, lotteries for highly prized tags, etc, then we should likely expect to see a large number of people attempting to take advantage however they can. It doesn’t make it right by any...

As I read the numbers, when the Wyoming point system started in 1998 there were 250 sheep tags and 200 moose tags available. Now, there are 180 sheep tags and 100 moose tags available. I don’t see how the system cannot change unless people want to continue paying into something that cannot...
I am so incredibly thrilled to see Arizona take this action. I used to drink the koolaid that these high bidders actually contributed to conservation efforts. Then I did a deep dive into sheep populations and tag numbers in the Intermountain West for the past 50 years. It shocked me that tag...
