I had this quoted in the big response but messed up and got it all jacked up but thought it was still worthy of a reply. It is a 2500HD diesel pickup. It weighs right around 8,000lbs. I did get a citation for my breakaway brakes not being setup correctly. I had connected the break away to about the 3rd link of the chain from the truck. It was a Recurve R6 hitch. I thought it was a novel idea with the weight distribution bars on the top instead of on the bottom. I wasn't ever super impressed with the hitch especially the sway control as that feature is handled through very large ball bearings instead of the normal friction...- npaden

No one was hurt, the truck never was off its wheels, you can see the skid marks where the truck was sliding before the trailer went over in the median. Actually looking at that I don't think the market value is true market value. It is already adjusted down to the agriculture based market value then the taxable value must be the actual taxes on it? Assuming the 280 acres is worth $500 per acre that would be $140,000 true market value but...- npaden
