I had an incident last fall while hunting white-tailed deer here in Wyoming. My reloading recipe for my 7-08 was 49.5 grs of Reloader 19, 139 grain Hornady SP bullets and Federal Large Rifle primers. This is a compressed load.
The rifle and ammo had been left outside in my vehicle for about...

This may seem like a cop-out answer to your question, but it depends on the year. Most years we have had a snow or three by late November. There could be snow on the ground or it may have melted. The high temps could be in the 40's to mid-60's or it could be 20 below zero. You...

There are some antelope killed on the Soldier Creek Hunter Management Area (HMA) each year. Probably not a lot, but there are some.
Your question regarding whether the antelope may move off the HMA later in the season can best be answered with, "it depends". Like most big game...

I hunt in Johnson Co. and by mid-November, when we are hunting white-tailed deer, we see a lot of buck antelope that have shed their horn sheaths. The OP was asking about the last three days of the season in 109 which would be November 28, 29 and 30. That is very late for antelope bucks...
NEWHunter has a good point; by late November many (most) of the buck antelope will have lost their horn sheaths so buck hunting that time of the year can be counterproductive.

Just a reminder that with antelope licenses in WY you are no longer automatically awarded a preference point when you do not draw your first choice licenses. You have to purchase the preference point during the proper time frame; which is something like July 1 to October 1.

Be a hunter. Find a way to get within 200 yards of an antelope and put a bullet through the lungs and you will be able to...
I guess I am boring as hell. I never did smoke or chew. I can count on one hand the number of alcoholic drinks I have had in the last five years.

My opinion: You were not hunting at that point, so I would think you would not need to be wearing orange at that time. That is the age old question, "When do you actually start hunting?" I have had these discussions with GW's many times but I am not sure there ever was a absolutely...
The part underlined above is NOT true.
Here is the wording on how to obtain a preference point in Wyoming:
Full Price Elk, Full Price Deer and Full Price Antelope Preference Points (Nonresidents Only) For nonresident full price elk, full price deer and full price antelope, preference points...
That jump was an anomaly. I was in the room when that jump was voted on. G&F Dept requested the Commission approve a small percentage (like 5%) increase in the cost of sheep preference points for nonresidents. One commissioner wanted the price increase to be the maximum allowed by the...
