No, I've applied to 323 many years and try to do a summer vacation scouting trip to the area at least every other year. Was just going to talk trails with you but don't necessarily want to do it on an open forum.

Oh for sure I get that. We ended up seeing a ton of goats last fall and I ended up with a nice one. did a scouting trip in august and went back around sept 14th Goats were pretty much where we left em

So we hiked in from lambert after deciding not to mess with the boulder river side or the south end. We covered a bunch during scouting but during hunting went up mill and then headed north to pyramid got up on that ridge that separates mill from meatrack and man is that some cool country. So other than maybe the first few miles we were bushwacking.

Ended up spotting a good one from the ridge north of mill across the whole valley to the south of mill so had to go down and all the way back up to get mine.

Did hike into hellroaring some and toward Wallace on the scouting trips.

I spend most of my time in Lambert and Crow Mnt area. Planning to hike into Bridge Creek and the North Fork Sixmile area this summer.

Nice! That area is pretty prime. So many people putting in down there the odds have really dropped

Yeah. I've been putting in for that area since around 2001 and my daughter and son in law put in as well. Hoping one of these days for one of us.
This was a decent one we saw in Lambert last summer.

We also usually hike the Eat Dam Creek trail for fun. No goats, but great views.

it sure is fun hiking up there. We even ran into some sheep when we were glassing the headwaters of Anderson creek. Too bad it’s outside the unlimited district. Saw some rams.

You guys ever try northwest montana? Cabinet mountains are beautiful and hardly any people for the most part.

Wow, I've not seen sheep in there. Might have to make the effort this summer. I'll actually be in 323 two times this summer. One trip with my wife and one trip with my son in law.

Yeah I don’t think they are too common up there plus they were about 9,800ft up. We did also see a real nice six point bull in the headwaters of meatrack
