So if you have just one trip and want to try bow, there are options where you can archery hunt the end of September and then Oct. 1 the rifle season opens. So depending on how long your one trip might be, I would think a person could find a unit where they had a week of archery and like 4 days... -

HAHA. I am all for monument reduction. All federal lands should be multiuse. Best of all would be making a move to get ride of the WSA created by the dems. Let’s talk about the 243win
I am a .243 fan as well. My kids both started with the 243. They took several elk, deer, and lopes with the .243 it is not going anywhere anytime soon. It will always have a place. -

Do not celebrate yet. Right now there has been around 2,000,000 votes cast. In the 2020 election there was like 3,100,000 votes cast. So there is still a lot of votes to be counted and I would gues that Pitkins County will flip green, Durango will flip green. Hopefully we mandate to keep routes...- WYelker

Lander is not too far from most of 100. There is a processor in Lander, Shane Leshner who does a really good job. One animal at a time, no bull grind. Nothing to fancy just a straight cut. He trims it well. Wraps in plastic then vacuum seals. He has done a couple elk and deer for us and have not... -
