    What won't you hunt?

African safari - never had a desire to hunt those animals (zebra, etc).

    GUNWERKS

7 SAUM. It’s been a great rifle. Easy to load for and gets the job done.

Buy what you want - a base GW Magnus without optic or load package is $7200. Expensive, but several other smiths are nearing this cost for a custom rifle as well. My brother worked for GW for 3 years, so I took full advantage and got a rifle for a great price. Shoots pretty much anything I...

    Coyotes at night

I typically park then scan the area with my monocular. If it's clear, I'll keep walking in being mindful of wind. I'll stop and scan until I get to the area I call. I use a white light and try to keep it pretty concealed. Some nights the moon is so bright you don't need a light at all...

Rimfire cans, what do you have?

TBAC 22 and a Dead Air Mask. Great cans.

McMillan Mountain Tracker LR for Tikka

I think McMillan knows how to make a stock…. Also this particular model is already out in the wild with other inlets. Won’t be that hard to make it for a Tikka. Again, if you’re not interested in it - why bother posting?

Have you seen some of the Manners stocks lately? How about Foundation? Peak 44? That’s pretty much the norm.

McMillan Mountain Tracker LR for Tikka

As already posted - numerous issues with the Rokstock. Missed delivery times, poor quality control, etc. Not to mention, you can’t order one at the moment either. Personally, I don’t care for the aesthetics of the Rokstock, the McMillan is a much better looking stock.

McMillan Mountain Tracker LR for Tikka

Same could be said for all of the aftermarket 700 triggers, stocks, etc. Have you seen the recent Ford Bronco and all the add ons? A factory Tikka is a fine rifle, but some don't enjoy the plastic stock or bottom "metal". No one is forcing you to spend money at all. This post was for those who...

McMillan Mountain Tracker LR for Tikka

I've never owned a McMillan, but my brother has one of the game wardens. Seems to be pretty good quality. I don't see this being anymore expensive than a Manners.

McMillan Mountain Tracker LR for Tikka

For the Tikka fans out there, if you're interested in a different stock, this may be of consideration if enough people commit. Figured I'd post here for a little more traction. https://mcmillanusa.com/shop/dev-list/mountain-tracker-lr-tikka-t3-dev-project/
