I definitely will be searching for a different broadhead to try this year. Hard finding one that tunes easily, leaves nice wound channels, and has good penetration and durability
I think some residents just like to crap on non residents as if they are the cause of all issues. But those same whiners are probably more than happy to buy a non resident tag in a state other than their own if they can get one. But of course that’s different since they are expert hunters
Soft, cavity hit. I am not happy with the blood trail I get with these slick tricks. I have killed several whitetails using these with complete pass throughs. Blood trails are not always good. Some times fat or entrails plug the holes fairly quick, but not always. The elk I wrote about obviously...
There seems to be quite a few condescending opinions in this thread, many if not most feel it was simply a poor shot taken. There are so many things that can go wrong on an animal that anyone who has hunted for more than a few years has had something unfortunate happen that caused a wounded...
You forgot the age old complaint that you hear coming from many states that those non residents that suck at hunting are always the ones wounding animals, of course residents don’t have that problem. Lol

When hunting in the desert or anywhere that venomous snakes live is it advisable to wear snake gaiters or chaps and what is the difference between regular gaiters and snake gaiters? Would regular gaiters work or suffice as snake bite protection?
After 16 years of applying I finally drew a unit 8 early archery. I haven’t set foot in Az for 5 years but scouted 8 then during archery season, found a spot I liked but that is about all I know about that zone. I would love to chat with anyone who has hunted unit 8 in early archery season more...
I have heard stories about these new powerful PCP air rifles in larger calibers then the old air rifles I grew up with. Some guys are sinking thousands into an air rifle set up. Personally for me the most important thing is rapid recovery of whatever I shoot so stepping down in weapon caliber or...
