I grew up in Northwest, MN learning to hunt my self with some guidance from my Uncle and Grandpa. I killed my first ever deer with a recurve bow and have been hooked on archery ever since. I didn't stay too active in hunting or archery hunting during college, but got right back into the thick of it in grad school and after college. I fell in love with South Dakota while in college at SDSU and after a few years living in NW Minnesota after college with my wife, once kids came along we moved back to SD.
I love archery for the challenge and the experiences. It is fun, and if its not fun, I'm not interested.
In my professional career, I'm a consulting arborist. I help people with sick trees and also do a lot of work with lawyers and such on all the advanced information when it comes to trees.
