What is this?
I would assume he has some kind of testicular damage. From what I understand that can commonly cause antler abnormalities as in the photo. Might have some wild growth and stay in velvet. -

Yeah I live in MO and birds are dwindling in both states. Private that I used to hunt in KS always had gobblers. It’s been nothing short of a ghost town recently. Unfortunate. -

I have heard that the pressure for elk there is intense! Of course being close to Woodland Park and Co Springs, I am sure it doesn't help. Just curious, what do you think would change for your 3/4 season strategy? Are you referring to elevation, forage, proximity to private? Thanks for the feedback. -
