    Anyone else having trouble applying in Colorado?

    I applied last night and had no problems with the credit cards but I could not find the sheep and goat application info. I did not receive a paper booklet so I just applied with the same hunt codes as last year. I probably won't draw anyway.

    In mississippi nonresidens have to hunt with a resident. I apply every year but I haven't gotten drawn. I know that you can buy gator meat in south louisana. Check out Don's specialty meats in Lafayette la. If they don't sell it they can probably tell you where to find it. Most any kind of fish...

    I did not go on a deer hunting, like every year I wound up going elk hunting instead. I seriously doubt that I will ever use the preference points.

    ISO Remington Model Seven 7mm-08

    I bought my son a model 7 in 7mm08 mountain rifle, put him a Swarovski scope on it for him. Had him a rifle for his grandkids to hunt with. That was in the late 90's. Then the gun got stolen. I never want to own a stolen gun. I think about that gun from time to time and hope one day it will show...

    Best fat for deer sausage

    I use bear trimmings and fat for my deer sausage. I try to mix it 50/50. My sausage seems to be pretty good.

    I always wanted to shoot a bobcat with my bow and one of these squirrels with my bow and have the squirrel in the cats mouth. I decided to get the cat first, I just didn't know it would take me 20 years to get the cat.

    Here in Mississippi we had some beautiful fox squirrels that had white feet, a white tip on his nose, white tips on his ears and a white tip on his tail. I always wanted to shoot one with my bow and have it mounted and never did. I haven't seen one in 20 years now.
