Yes, I still keep a check register
I still pay several bills by check as the entity I'm paying doesn't have an electronic system for payment. And there are a few bills that I refuse to pay the fee associated with paying with a CC so they still get a check. Happy Wheel Gun Wednesday
Ruger SP101 3” in 327. Fun gun to shoot, wife usually carries it when we’re hunting. I’d like to pick up a 327 Ruger single action but they’re apparently made of gold based on some of the prices out there. -

UPS sucks
If you have the option, go to the UPS distribution center to ship items. Employees at the UPS stores aren’t knowledgable on the shipping rules but typically the workers at the center are pretty good. Public Land Kansas Whitetail
Go to the KS outdoors website and check out their online hunting atlas. Fall 2024 isn’t out yet but the atlas will give you an idea of how much public land is in each zone.- pwrwgn57

Hornady 300 wsm ammo
Had this problem several years ago with two boxes of 300 wsm Federal 180’s, they were manufactured before the demand skyrocketed. Like std7 indicated, just because the factory loaded it doesn’t mean its always right.- pwrwgn57

What was your first big game rifle, and do you still have it?
Started hunting with a Remington 760 in 270 when I was 14. Had the see thru scope rings which were horrible actually trying to see thru the scope. Still in the back of the safe 30+ years later, changed out the rings but I’ve never killed anything with it. May need to change that this year.
