307s been rescheduled for Monday finally. Folks, keep up the pressure. Let them know we don't need to make the false choice between two deserving causes, we can stand behind the bipartisan decision to continue funding the habitat allocations from previous sessions AND fund enforcement/treatment...

Montana House Bill 676 - This could sell off 1.25M acres of State Trust Lands - that's almost 25%!!! This is not the Homesteading Bill

We had a good hearing. Sponsor made some bold remarks, during his opening remarks, the sponsor stated he wants proceeds from the forced land sales to go towards property tax relief, not the schools, and not land banking. Not sure this is constitutional. Then his closing remarks went something...

Just finished one some of you fellas might fancy. "Cry of the Hunted" by Gene Tierney. A memior from a Montana game warden who served from the 40s through the 80s. Interesting perspective on the evolution of the roll of game wardens and law enforcement in general. Ol boy spent alot of time in...

    Montana 2025 Legislative Session

Gerald, well done on standing up to the heat. You did a good job of responding. The commission is appointed by the governor and as such their actions directly reflect on our highest elected official within the state, who should be held accountable by the electorate for his appointees work.

"Now it's my turn!" -Federal circa 2025

Im excited. Not necessarily for this new chambering, but what it represents. More manufactures commercially producing casings capable of handling the 80k psi pressures. Like others have eluded to once this process gets further refined, its going to open the door for measurable gains from all...

    Upland hunting hearing protection

Ive been wearing the Otto Noizebarriers for the last few years. I really like them, they've held up well, good battery life and use generic replaceable foam ear tips. The I usually just run them in the normal mode.

    .22 Pistol Recommendation

The Keltec P17 is a great little piece for that role. Mines been reliable and you'll be hard pressed to find anything much lighter for packing around.
