If you read through that thread, you will see that Randy, @Big Fin debunked those rumors and said that he is already testing future prototypes and Mystery Ranch is not going anywhere.
You won't be an Idaho resident by IDFG standards this year, but I sure wouldn't go back to NM and hunt as a resident either once you get an Idaho driver's license. There is a lot of gray area here.
Agreed, my 12 year old passed it with ease. I'm going to have my 10 year old do it to see how easy it is for her.
In my opinion, the test is more of a cover your ass type thing for IDFG than anything.
I always have 3 liters and usually fill it at least once. I drink a lot though. On a normal day, I'll drink two gallons though, so a lot of it is a personal thing.

Yes it shows he's a new member, but if you click on his name, you can clearly see that he joined in Sept. of 2016.
Plus I have already met up with him and now have the scope in my possession.
