To bad those were not allowed to be hunted.

The one on the right looks like a tank.

Anyone else tired of tight groups with sandbags galore?

Shooting prone on the ground across a canyon. Bipod and back pack for rest. Like to practice under hunting conditions after working up load. Steel plate is 12”x12”.

    Greenland hunting trip

If you mean John Andre (or something like that) and Shoshone Wilderness Adventures I would really research it well. Look back at all the people that got screwed on their caribou hunts.

Spencer's double rifle from the 1923 TV Series

Watched the last episode last night. Thought it was a good series. Also makes you think about how tough people were back in the day to survive without all the modern amenities. Show probably made double rifles increase 10 to 20% in value.

Dealer would not take deposit over the phone, so we cut out vacation short and drove there to put a deposit down...

    410 TSS

Looks like a great pattern. What size was your choke? With that 40 yard pattern you could probably easily do 50 yards plus.

Rebuilding a rig instead of buying new

And EXPENSIVE!!!! Be afraid to take that on a hunting trip for what you would spend.

Rebuilding a rig instead of buying new

A lot depends about how far you drive to hunt. If you drive 12 to 20 hours from home to where you hunt the newer trucks are very comfortable. Especially if towing. Almost better to drive a newer truck and use a SxS or ATV to run the bad roads where you hunt. Hunting close to home I would prefer...
