    Tariffs

Not entirely, the vast most of the industry doesn't compare to be sure, but there has been some interesting options showing up in recent years. Cruse wine is making sparkling more in the style of independent growers in Champagne, as well as Rhys which is doing both big producer house blends as...

With anything fuel related in California you have to wonder about what types of phuckery from Sacramento could be in play. My prices from Kamps have been pretty stable. 2/16/25 $3.54 1/9/25 $3.43 11/11/24 $3.44 5/14/24 $3.40

    Tariffs

I've bought a of fair bit of Champagne this year, there's been some good producer direct shipments of past vintages that I jumped on simply for scarcity and provenance. With the tarriff announcement/threat a couple of weeks ago, I got lucky. It'll be interesting to see what this does to the...

    Tariffs

Some of our suppliers (medical) have warned about potential higher costs, but of the products we get that are manufactured outside the country and relatively inexpensive to begin with so I'm not seeing it have a material effect, but still remaining cautious about potential blindspots. It's not...

    Evaluate the ROI on Education

Truth right here, between what I've had to pay for various GCs, HVAC, painters, landscapers, etc over the years professionally and personally that ones that show up and communicate are typically very successful. Now there's even a potential PE exit for many smaller scale guys...

    Your dog’s quirk?

Ruby, loves all humans. Will try and eat through a washing machine to get a mouse. After the cover for the detergent draw was eaten off she took towards the drawer itself.......yes that's blood from her gums on the edges.

Don't let your 2025 opinion of Musk ignore the facts. That 465M ATVM load revitalized the NUMMI plant Toyota GM shuttered in early 2010. Workers got back to work and the loan was paid in 3 years benefiting taxpayers. Ford got almost $6 billion and it was repaid in 2022.

Alcohol is a fascinating space right now. Broader talks of lower consumption by younger generations, wine overall is down and with spirits there's been a massive shift towards artisan producers (beer too). But with small batch production, distribution is a huge challenge based on previous...
