That certainly happens but they often take unanimous decisions and either affirm or overturn. For example, recently SCOTUS overturned Chevron deference in the Loper v. Raimondo case. So good! Would love to see this go to SCOTUS but since the 10th Circuit covers a huge chunk of western “hunting” states I’m hoping this has a reverberating effect and it’s precedence is enough to get state legislatures to codify this ruling. 🤞- Jape

Looks like the winter data is out on the Wyoming/Sublette deer herd conditions. Pro: really good fawn survival and healthy does. Con: buck ratio is still low especially for older bucks. Good crop of older bucks coming in several years if we don’t have another 22-23 winter... -

@Bambistew that seems to be my observation as well. The only state I can find that has really good transparency is Arizona. I keep researching and still haven’t seen any hard data linking these auction tags to more sheep and thus more tags. If anybody has some I would love to see it.- Jape

No, but this is the ram JJ shot in NM last year. I think he paid $600k for that tag. Grossed out at 208. Not sure what net was. My guess is there is a bigger one that is being watched day and night by an outfitter for $1.3M.- Jape
