410 TSS
9.5s, pattern says 50 yards but I've yet to test it past 35 on gobblers. It's everything the 12ga I started with was except not as forgiving. .410 is persnickety in building your loads. Gobblers are apt to gobble and strut in fall when the temperatures are the same as in Spring. It's the hens that limit the behavior to the correct time.- howl

Don't play with dolls. It's counterproductive in the long run. If the turkey can see your position without coming into range you are in the wrong spot.- howl

Which state to Merriam turkey hunt?

Double-tapping with a .243 vs one shot with 30-06?

Choke questions
The factory Remgington Super Full usually works with that gun and 1 5/8oz T9s for a good turkey hunting pattern at the usual distances. Those loads have over 500 pellets in them. You would almost certainly get a 40 yards killing pattern with any full choke, but it'll be wide enough to get into... -
