    I am planning to hunt Elk A Tag - Bannock Zone the 2nd half of Sept. 2022. Non-resident from Minnesota, this will be my 5th year Elk Hunting Idaho, 2 in Beaverhead, 2 in McCall and 1st yr in Bannock

    The hunt went well, apologies on not seeing your message. I spent 12 days solo, had 2 close encounters and was able to stalk some elk. I wasn't able to tag out but had some opportunities and that's all we can hope for.Ran into a bull moose that was exciting and I learned some new idaho land, I'm heading back to Bannock A as I scored another 2023 tag

    I'm bringing a newbie elk hunter hunting this year too, we were able to get another Bannock A tag so looking forward to it.Too bad on the wolves, I've not heard much on Pioneer, didn't think it was wolf area, like Lolo or Selway. You going back out this year?

    Droptine I drew one of 2 nonresident rifle tags for elk. My hunt will start the day after your archery hunt ends. Brand new and havent figured messanger yet, but would like to keep track of your archery hunt progress so I'm more prepared for my rifle tag. Good luck on your hunt
