Yeah that's the Type 6 reduced price or whatever they are...agreed those are a steal....but I don't think many of those go into leftover?
At this point in the calendar the OP might only have full price cow tag options in secondary draw or leftovers?
My crew picked up some of the leftover...
So does that mean a $704 full price NR WY cow elk tag picked up in the leftovers, split between 2 guys is actually a sound financial decision??
that'd be a first...never tried to justify hunting as a cheaper way to get meat as it just doesn't work out.
You can go on Netflix right now and watch The Peanut Butter Falcon. Need a willing suspension of disbelief but it's a good 90min watch...even has an old beat up 870 that features heavily.
Slightly off topic but the OP made me think of Tim Reynolds....I saw this show live way back when..still incredible.
Jump to 2:50 mark if u just want to see Tim doing his thing.
I was able to get a few from an Amish community near me in IA...went to the feed/seed/hardware store and told them I'd like some pigeons... Couple days later I went pack w cash to pick them up.
Also found a local game bird breeder where I could buy mature quail about the same price as pigeons...
I typically buy my packs used off here, ebay, or RS...for 40%-50% of new can get packs in very good to near new shape. YMMV
That said, I've got a SG Sky Archer 6400 and Solo 3600. Really like the SG pack, very lightweight and carries weight well for me.
I also tried mystery ranch and seek...
Popup storms...no problem. You want lightweight, but you won't find lightweight AND tough.
I've used this jacket for multiple elk and deer hunts in CO, WY, NM, no issues...it's windproof, waterproof at least against daily rainshowers, tough enough and light enough, and availablein tall...
They have it in stock but I'm traveling so I called to pay for it to be sure they didnt sell out...will go in for prints etc and pick up when I get back to town.
Not a line of people buying at our local store likely bc you can't really hunt with a rifle in our state anyway.
