It’s been said a bunch of times, but bears repeating. If you are not a reloader, a .270 or .30-06 are both excellent choices. Can get ammo anywhere. Can get many good bullet options. And both will dispatch all the deer and elk you can eat. Though nothing on your short list would be a “bad”...
For a suppressor for my .22 I waited 1 day. Quite happy. Annoyed that it is required in the first place, but given the horror stories of weeks and months, I was pretty happy to get it back next day..
The potential ramifications of this, as with any new(ish) tech technology are mind boggling. And it is just so human that THIS technology will be most creatively used by criminals before most of us figure out how to do anything worthwhile with it…
Seems too early to panic. So much at this point is bluster and showmanship. When the dust from all the commotion settles, let’s see what sticks. Then we will know what is really in jeopardy.
