Oklahoma McAAP Trad Hunt
After many days and nights dreaming about sending a dinner stick through a giant I’m finally on post. Came down a little early today to run to Walmart and grab the last minute necessities (steaks for the group I’ll be riding into the hunting area with every day) and grabbed lunch. Right at 2pm... -

Boom sticks are cool...but show off your bow!
Hunted with a Mission Craze that I got at a pawn shop for $100 for the last four years and finally upgraded a few weeks ago.. Mathews v3 27. Love it so far but still a little under 500 total arrows through it. -

Do I care about opening day?
Opening day in my unit was madness with high pressure. My group was still able to fill 3 doe tags that day. Tuesday and Wednesday were almost completely void of any hunters at all but most of the antelope had been pushed way back away from the main roads which made for some fun stalks. -

Haven’t harvested a buck but shot two doe last year and two more this year. I’ll get a buck tag in the next couple years or so. -
Tell Me About Your Bow Kills
I only have two archery harvests. First was a doe at about 23 yards, next was my biggest buck to date at about 30 yards. Hoping to stick a few more this year!
